FIRST IMPRESSIONS

VISUAL: Namine is slight, somewhat lanky. Looks like she may at one point not have had enough food to grow and has not appropriately caught up. Alternatively, looks like “being a teenager” happened in which she grew taller faster than she knew what to do with. She’s also in that liminal phase between “teenager” and “adult.”
Also, if you get a closer look at her eyes, she looks tired. Like she’s seen it all already.

AURAL: She’s quiet, though confident when she speaks. She may pose cryptic questions as well.

DEMEANOR: She comes across like she is constantly reminding herself that she belongs somewhere. Basically, she’s either hunched over and trying to blend into her surroundings, or she’s standing tall and determined. She also is prone to getting a little spacey and lost in her thoughts. If left alone for too long without anything going on, she will pull out a sketchbook and draw.

MAGICAL: For those who can sense elemental alignments, she will ping as “none of the above.” She can cast an array of magic, elemental and otherwise. For those who can sense light and darkness, she will show up somewhere on the middle of the scale, leaning towards light. For those who can sense general magic auras, she will ping as “most definitely has one!” though it will not be immediately clear as to what type of magic it is she can do. (She can mess with memories which has a whole slew of repercussions should we go there.)

IN CHARACTER

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Namine will respond to hugs just fine. She has a boyfriend and is technically taken, but platonic affection is more than fine with her!

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: You can pick a fight with her, but we’ll have to discuss lasting injuries and how the various powers scale.

RELATIONSHIPS: Namine is willing to be friends with just about anyone. However, she’s also quick to pick up on people with ill-intent. She’s otherwise very trusting. Player not interested in roleplaying romance and Namine is already taken anyway.

PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: She can mess with memories!!! This causes headaches! She can make you forget things! She can make you remember things! She can probably cause brain damage! If you try to read her mind, you may have to sift through your own thoughts before you can get to hers.

MAGICAL INFORMATION: See above, she can cast a wide array of spells. For those of you who know KH or FF, she can cast -ga level spells without too much issue. Also, she can cast Holy. Her body has a bit of a failsafe in it that will burst out with a gigantic Light attack should she get close to dying.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: She can be magically healed via a spell (Cure, etc) or a potion. Those are what she would recognize. However, a significant portion of her is a Replica, and thus she is a computer that is mimicking organic function very, very well. Some injuries may require computer intervention : )

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Do not hit this girl with lightning, it will end in her having a breakdown because she’s having flashbacks to being abused. She’s also not going to like discussions of reprogramming computers that mimic life. She will fight you if you suggest that x person is less valuable than y person.

As a player, I’m totally down to go these directions, it’s just your heads up for what will happen if we go there.

MORE INFO

CANON: Kingdom Hearts Divergent. If you feel like reading several hundred thousand words, check out All the Pieces! But the short version is, it’s post-KH2 divergent and because I wrote the fic prior to DDD’s release, anything revealed in canon after that point is not something this Namine knows.

The "events" of KH3 happened differently because as I was writing All the Pieces, it was "this is what I hope/think will happen in KH3."

All the Pieces: Sora and Riku became Keyblade Masters. Xehanort had Vexen make replicas of him to assist Xehanort himself to take over the Worlds/plunge them into darkness. Sora, Riku, Kairi, and Axel worked to stop that. Namine and Roxas became their own people by being made as part-replicas. Xion was rebuilt. Ven was woken up and Aqua was rescued from the Realm of Darkness. Everyone blasts Xehanort with so much light that Terra is also saved.

Betwixt and Between: Even with Xehanort gone, the darkness is still a problem and many Worlds are out of balance. Also, former Organization members Larxene and Marluxia are causing problems. Kairi, Roxas, Xion, and Ven are all training to become Keyblade Masters. Namine learns how to control her new powers and pushes the boundaries of what she can do. Axel finds the balance of just how much darkness he can use without damaging his heart. Also, now there's an Alternate Universe people keep winding up in!

Remnants: Remnants of Xehanort begin showing up around the Worlds, promising to make vessels and once again become a true person. The gang cannot actually kill a Remnant, only temporarily destroy them. They must rid the Worlds of everyone who harbors Xehanort in their hearts. While they search for who that could be, a Remnant makes a successful vessel of Marluxia. Larxene becomes so tainted by the darkness that she is another threat on the horizon. Eventually, Marlynort and Larxene are dealt with. The shreds of Xehanort are expelled and everyone can breathe easily at last.

MULTIPLE UNIVERSES: That said, Namine knows of other Worlds and places, with varying degrees of magic and technology.

She's aware of alternate universes and has come into contact multiple times with one alternate universe in specific - the one where the Riku Replica was taken to be given a second shot at life, ultimately intertwining those two universes together forever.

(If we get into funny AU (of an AU) territory, she has also met people like YWKON!Jade and Mythra, as well as my OC Rinnie, who has also met FtP!Namine.)
